1 cup (225g) unsalted butter, softened

¼ cup (50g) coconut sugar or ⅓ cup (67g) raw cane sugar 

(50% less than traditional recipes)

1½ cups (190g) whole wheat pastry flour 

(or a mix of whole wheat & almond flour for extra softness)

¼ cup (30g) cornstarch (for a light, crisp texture)

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

¼ tsp salt

1–2 tbsp milk (as needed, for piping consistency)
